Helping individuals rebuild their lives through hope, employment, and empowerment.

1. What is The Gateway Foundation?

The Gateway Foundation is a Christian-based charity supporting individuals who have experienced addiction and/or offending. We help people rebuild their lives through meaningful growth, skill-building, and financial independence after completing rehabilitation programs.

2. Who can access your services?

Our services are open to individuals who have successfully completed a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program and are ready to re-enter society. We also work with those who have experienced offending and are committed to making a fresh start.

3. What kind of support do you offer?

We provide a range of services, including:

  • Tailored employment support and job readiness training
  • Volunteering opportunities to build confidence and skills
  • One-to-one guidance and mentoring
  • Part-Funding for courses and personal development

4. Do I need to be Christian to access your services?

No. While we are a Christian-based organisation, our support is available to individuals of all faiths or none. We welcome anyone who is committed to making a positive change in their life.

5. What makes The Gateway Foundation different?

We take a holistic, person-centred approach. We don’t just focus on employment—we also recognise the emotional, social, and practical challenges people face after addiction or offending. We walk with individuals through each step, respecting their story and helping them build a future rooted in independence and dignity.

6. Do you offer training or education programs?

Yes. We offer access to skills training, workshops, and learning opportunities that support career development and personal growth. These may include digital skills, trades, customer service, or confidence-building programs.

7. Can I volunteer with The Gateway Foundation?

Absolutely! We welcome volunteers who want to support our mission, whether they have lived experience or simply want to give back. Volunteering roles range from mentoring and admin support to helping with workshops or outreach.

8. How can I refer someone to your services?

Referrals can be made by individuals themselves, rehabilitation centres, support workers, probation officers, or family members. Simply get in touch through our contact page or email us directly.

9. How is The Gateway Foundation funded?

As a registered charity, we are funded through donations, grants, and partnerships. We are always grateful for the support of individuals and organisations that share our vision of hope and transformation.
